Safety

 

Cleaning & Disinfecting Protocols
  • Classrooms are fully stocked with cleaning products that adhere to the EPA and CDC guidelines about disinfecting materials and surfaces.
  • Each morning, teachers must complete all required cleaning supply checks and re-stock their classrooms as needed.
  • Each week, the inventory of all cleaning supplies are reviewed and replenished as needed.
  • The school is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected every night in strict accordance to the CDC regulations.
  • The common areas, doorknobs, desks and other shared areas are disinfected throughout the day.
  • Professional cleaners thoroughly clean and disinfect the school in accordance with our guideline driven schedule.
  • Teachers must regularly clean and disinfect classroom materials throughout the day.
  • Students are instructed to only use materials that have been properly cleaned.
Healthy Hygiene
Student Hand Washing Protocol
  • All Students are instructed how to properly wash their hands.
  • Students are instructed at minimum to wash their hands under the following circumstances: Upon arrival, throughout the day while utilizing materials, entering and exiting classrooms and common areas, before and after meals, and after using the restroom.
Staff Hand Washing Protocol
  • Staff members are required at minimum to wash their hands under the following circumstances: upon arrival, after handling materials, entering and existing classrooms and common areas, before and after meals, toileting or changing diapers, before and after cleaning and disinfection.
  • Teachers and staff members must maintain hand washing hygiene of all students.
Hand Sanitizer
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizers with 60% or more alcohol are installed throughout the school.
  • Hand sanitizers are used when hand washing stations are not easily accessible (i.e. opening and closing doors, turning on and off lights, etc).
Hygiene Guidelines
Staff Hygiene
  • Staff members must follow all CDC guidelines with regard to social distancing, wearing face coverings, hand washing, and healthy physical hygiene even when outside of school.
Healthy Hygiene Signage
  • CDC and DOH signage are displayed throughout the school. This includes information on hand washing techniques, social distancing, and other activities to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
State & City Health & Immunization Records
  • Staff members and students are required to provide the state mandated health forms prior to on-boarding.
  • Parents are required to provide immunization records for each child; these records must demonstrate that their child is up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to enrollment.
